Pan-Abode opened for business in 1948 focusing on local summer home and camp accommodations and developed a reputation for innovation and great customer service. Since 1948, Pan-Abode has been building solid Western Red Cedar log homes. Pan-Abode is the original - setting a standard that has continued for over 50 years.

A Canadian company with the unprecedented experience of supplying our unique product to over 26 countries worldwide, including Antarctica, Pan-Abode is the proud producer of one of the finest quality of log homes on the market today.

In the early 1950's, the company applied for and received a patent for its "lock joint" corner system. This was the first in a series of market innovations that continue to provide our customers with precision, consistency and value.

Our production facility features custom engineered, computerized milling, notching and other specialized equipment. And in our design and engineering offices we use computerized estimation, drafting and log coding software allowing us to provide accurate, detailed drawings and estimates and superb building site documentation for ease of assembly.

At Pan-Abode, we insist on milling our logs from timber which is free of heartcentre (the core of the log). It costs us a whole lot more to prepare your home this way but it's worth it.
