Pan-Abode International Ltd., located in Richmond BC, has been in business since 1948 and has built the reputation as being one of the premier log home companies in the world. Pan-abode’s western red cedar log is the highest-grade log in the log home industry. We use only the best logs supplied by our parent company Mill and Timber Products. We use a tight-knot, Free-of-heart center log; which reduces splits and cracks by 95% as compared with other log species and grades.

Pan-Abode takes a lot of pride in the buildings we help to create. Not only is it important to us to offer first class customer service, but to make a commitment to respect the environment, energy efficiency and longevity to our homes and cabins for years to come. We promote environmentally conscious practices. Our logs are harvested using a “Sustainable Forest” practice ensuring protection of the species and guaranteed harvest. Also our logs deliver a higher insulation value (+R19) than most lumber species and considerably greater than that of brick or concrete. Buildings stay cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter and in turn this will save you money on your energy bill. Also our logs are preservative free and contain natural oils (Thujic acid), which acts as a preservative preventing decay and inhibiting invasion by insects.
